STAND T.A.L.L. is a copyrighted acronym for a movement called Thank A Local Lawman, and it began as an idea that our founder heard while at an exposition in Atlanta in April of 2016.

Help Us Fund Equipment for K-9s

Protecting members of law enforcement by providing needed financial support and equipment are just two of the goals of STAND T.A.L.L., a NC 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We’ve started a fundraiser to purchase the bulletproof protective vest for Dino, the CPD K-9, and we need your financial support.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

STAND T.A.L.L. is now involved with assisting area law enforcement departments that have or wish to start a mental health or Peer Support Group. We can provide guidance and financial support to assist area departments in doing this, from set-up to bringing in outside professionals.

LAW ENFORCEMENT SUPPORT

We raise funds for the needs for law enforcement that are not in their current budgets. These include items like protective vests and Medical Trauma Kits for officers and their K-9s, foul weather gear for their motorcycle division, tourniquets for officer’s utility belts. We also provide educational grants for college students entering the Basic Law Enforcement Training to become NC police officers, and continuing education for active law enforcement personnel.

K-9 DIVISION SUPPORT

We have funded the purchase of 10 bulletproof protective vests for K-9 departments, paid to build the new K-9 Agility Park at the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, and continue to expand into other K-9 departments throughout western NC.

As Officers keep our communities safe, you, in turn, are keeping them safe.
